Since our founding, we’ve trained more than 2,500 teens and an incredible 98% of our graduates remain incident‑free for years after completing our program.

Why TDSS Exists

Car crashes continue to be one of the leading causes of death for teenagers. Every single day, seven young lives are lost in preventable driving incidents, a number that rises sharply each year during the 100 Deadliest Days of Summer.

TDSS was created to change that reality.

Operating at the Virginia International Raceway, our two‑day program goes far beyond traditional driver’s education.

Teens learn:

  • Advanced car control and skid recovery

  • Proactive driving strategies (combination of defensive and offensive driving)

  • Emergency decision‑making

  • A mindset of responsibility, awareness, and respect for the road
